The Masters Touch Food Pantry and Garden Ministry

Recently we joined a national campaign to address food security in our community. The national “hub” for churches builds relationships and networks to discuss location specific topics.

We broke ground on the first plot last year in 2022 and haven’t looked back! Below is an interview with Eddie Hunter and Pat Laster of the Masters’ Touch Ministry, our two Head Coordinators of the Garden Ministry.

“We joined the Black Church Food Security Network (BCFSN) for an opportunity to partner with other congregations who are seeking solutions to the food and health  challenges in our community” says Mrs. Hunter.

Continuing to press forward, recently, we have added 8 acres to our original 2-acre tract to help provide better food security and wellness education in the historic district of Kings/Soutel Community. Praise the Lord!
